The Advent season is a time to prepare our hearts and minds for Christ’s second coming at the end of time. This season also prepares us to celebrate the Lord’s birth on Christmas. 

Some Advent devotions include spending time before the Blessed Sacrament, attending reconciliation services and parish missions, praying together as a family, and reflecting on ways to draw nearer to Christ.

For a FUN FAMILY ACTIVITY, create an Advent wreath; bless your Advent wreath (an Advent wreath blessing can be found on the USCCB website here); and please share a picture of your Advent wreath with your St. Basil family! We would love to see it!
