In an effort to protect those most vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus, Bishop Soto is issuing a decree dispensing ALL members of the Catholic faithful from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. Bishop Soto directed parishes in certain counties to cancel non-essential large gatherings due to COVID-19 through the month of March. St. Basil's has thereby cancelled the following gatherings: Lenten Soup (March 13, 20, 27) ; St. Patrick's Day Dinner (March 14); St. Basil School 70th Anniversary Dinner (March 21).
